High blood pressure often has no symptoms, but it is one of the leading causes of heart attacks and strokes.
At Mannin Doctors, we are supporting the Blood Pressure UK “Know Your Numbers” campaign, offering professional blood pressure and health checks for adults on the Isle of Man.
“Know Your Numbers” is a national campaign led by Blood Pressure UK, encouraging people to understand key health measurements that affect long-term wellbeing.

Normal blood pressure: below 120/80 mmHg
Raised blood pressure: 120–139 / 80–89 mmHg
High blood pressure: 140/90 mmHg or above
If your reading is raised, we will explain what this means and what to do next.
You can book your Know Your Numbers check online or by contacting our reception team.
1 in 3 adults in the UK has high blood pressure. Many do not know they have it.

This check is a screening assessment, not a diagnosis. A single raised reading does not mean you have hypertension. Further monitoring or GP review may be advised.
